On the Selection Criteria for Pixel Candidates in Psi: Potentials of Polarimetry
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper we demonstrate some benefits of using polarimetric data in persistent scatterers interferometry (PSI). A polarimetric optimization approach is applied to TerraSAR-X dual-pol data, leading to a significant increase in the number of persistent scatterer candidates (PSCs) selected by the most commonly used criteria of quality, namely the amplitude dispersion index and the average interferometric coherence. The increase of PSCs translates into denser and more accurate deformation estimation results. In addition, a new selection criterion based on polarimetric stationarity is proposed as a way to make a more complete use of the polarimetric information available, since traditional selection criteria are conceived for single-pol data. Preliminary results are shown and discussed.

Polarimetric Enhancement of Pixel Candidates Selection in Per- sistent Scatterers Interferometry
This work is aimed to present a general method for using the polarimetric information provided by new satellite SAR sensors in order to improve the performance of persistent scatterers interferometry (PSI). PSI methods select for processing only those pixels that are considered as a priori reliable under certain stability criterion. The method proposed in this paper aims to increase the number ...

متن کاملPixel selection by successive projections algorithm method in multivariate image analysis for a QSAR study of antimicrobial activity for cephalosporins and design new cephalosporins
Thirty-one Cephalosporin compounds were modeled using the multivariate image analysis and applied to the quantitative structure activity relationship (MIA-QSAR) approach. The acid dissociation constants (pKa) of cephalosporins play a fundamental role in the mechanism of activity of cephalosporins. The antimicrobial activity of cephalosporins was related to their first pKa by different models. B...

متن کاملAn extended intuitionistic fuzzy modified group complex proportional assessment approach
Complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) methodology is one of the well-known multiple criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) frameworks that can focus on proportional and direct dependences of the significance and utility degree of candidates under the presence of mutually conflicting criteria in real-worldcases. This studyelaboratesa newintuitionistic fuzzy modified group complex proportional...
